Vintage Bigfoot? The Firkin Vault is officially open!
Some of you might remember this time last year we bought a climate controlled cellar fridge and loaded it up with Barley Wines, Quads, Impy Stouts and Lambics. The idea being to eventually be able to sell vintage beers. Now for the very first time the "Firkin Vault" is open and we have a limited number of 2009 bigfoot bottles for sale! These bottles have been kept at a constant 47 deg since January last year. Bigfoot is a beer that will age well if kept in the proper conditions. The heat from the alcohol will mellow out, as does the hop bitterness and more subtle flavors start to shine through.
