Sunday Beer Commercial - Hamms
I, like most beer geeks have a small collection of Hamms beer glasses, coasters, playing cards and other stuff from that era. Most of that came pretty late in the breweries life actually as Hamms was established in St. Paul back in 1865. Here's the famous television commercial that your father and his father remembers with such nostalgia. The jingle itself was derived from a 1909 art song called "From the land of blue-sky waters". It was adapted for the Hamms beer and aired on radio long before this T.V. commercial existed....
