You guys & gals have been pounding down the door for more Oasis and we obliged! I say Oasis is to ESB as Furious is to an IPA. And it's in cans! Here's what the Tallgrass website has to say:
"Oasis is a Double ESB/IPAish beer that came about from playing around with one of Jeff's favorite homebrew recipes. Here at Tallgrass we love malt and we love hops, and this beer has both of them in record quantities; well, at least records for our baby brewery.
At a hefty 7.2% ABV and 93 IBU, Oasis is a big beer that has to be priced a bit higher than our regular line of beers. We think that once you taste the over-the-top hops and surprisingly sturdy malt backbone you will realize why it's worth it.
Definitely not a fruit-extract seasonal shandy, this beer is meant to be enjoyed on the back porch, the front porch, or even on the stoop. What's a stoop? Well, it's a good place to drink beer, is what it is."

When Doug Odell was in on Monday, he brought along some Woodcut #3... we still have a few bottles left, and it is pretty awesome stuff. It is a unique amber oak aged beer with tones of toffee, almond, and raisin. The oak is mellow and really compliments the flavors in this 11% ABV ale. It is very sought after and will age up to 5 years, increasing in complexity. This is a premium beer with a premium price, but well worth it!
Surly Bitter Brewer, Odell St. Lupulin, Bell's Oberon... three great beers that will soon wave goodbye along with summer. We don't know how long they will stay in stock since production has ended on all three for the year. Get them before they're just memories of 2010! See you soon -- Bryan.
Come celebrate the marriage of Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig to the Saxon-Hildburghausen Princess Therese at the Firkins!
