With the weather looking grim for the next couple of days it's a great time to enjoy something a little darker don't you think? Dieu de Ciel out of Montreal does a stout called Aphrodite which is brewed with cocoa and vanilla beans that might fit the bill. Try it with some new york cheese cake. We also have some of their Peche Mortel, a 9% ABV imperial stout brewed with coffee! Cheers! Alvey.
This is something we had a couple of weeks ago so some of you may have tried it. We were lucky enough to get another case this week so if you haven't, now's your chance. I bet this would impress any friends or family you might be entertaining this weekend.
"Two kinds of malted rye provide a spicy sweetness, giving way to notes of caramelized wood and the citrusy tang of Perle, Magnum and Saphir hops before easing into a dry, lingering finish. Rye-on-Rye's body and character make it the equal to any sort of hearty stew or aged cheese."
That's right! You can now buy Four Firkins Gift Cards directly from our Cloud Profile website and have them mailed to your house or where ever you'd like! Know someone who likes beer? They'll love this and they'll love you for giving it to them. Cheers! Alvey.
70 deg today eh? You'll want a beer that'll be nice to drink outside in that cool spring breeze. Two Brothers just released the Monarch White for the season. Talk about a perfect beer for 70 deg! It's a wheat beer brewed with coriander and orange peel for a spicy, citrus zing. I'll be having one or two on the deck tonight for sure. Cheers!
Alvey.
One of the most popular American wheat beers ever, the Bell's Oberon just landed in time for the good weather. 65 deg + Bell's Oberon = Good times....
