We weren't expecting to get this until Tuesday but our rep is a legend and he delivered it to us last night, just in time for the holiday weekend! We tried it. It's amazing. Here's what Grand Teton say's about it:
"Trout Hop is brewed with Idaho 2-Row Brewers' Malt and German specialty malts and has a deep, rich color and roasted finish without the thick and malty body that often accompanies dark beers. It is kettle hopped and dry hopped with Pacific Northwest hops, resulting in bold and intense bitterness and piney, zesty aroma. The full body and dry finish create a refreshing autumn ale, perfect for any crisp afternoon or cool evening. The spicy hops of this ale complement rich, flavorful foods. Chocolate mole enchiladas, Indian and Thai curries, and barbecue ribs will accompany nicely."
We have once again gone through a prodigal amount of beer during our Friday and Saturday night sampling sessions. There are at least 5 full cases of 12oz bottles here that you can take for free and fill with homebrew. All you have to do is ask! Hope to see you soon.

Last week were were lucky enough to have Doug Odell in the store and he brought 2 cases of Deconstruction with him. Needless to say we sold out immediately and we are excited to have received a bit more today. Deconstruction is a golden ale broken down like this: 44% ale, 33% ale aged in oak, 20% ale aged in bourbon barrels, 3% ale aged in wine barrels. Super complex and just plan amazing. I make no bones about it when I say this is one of my top three new beers of the year. Get some soon before it's gone! -- Bryan
Odell has just released their year round porter to Minnesota! I hesitate to say that the shipment of this beer has caused the blustery day we are having, but the weather IS perfect for a porter today... We will also be sampling this tonight after 6. Can't wait to see you! -- Bryan
Adding to our great line of Octoberfest beers this week is OKTO from Widmer. This is a bit different take on the regular Marzen-Style in that it is made with an Alt ale yeast instead of a lager yeast. This gives it a more robust, earthy flavor. Goes great with the brats you're grilling this weekend! See you soon -- Bryan.
