The flagship of the Rodenbach beers. The Grand Cru is comprised of 67% aged beer and 33% young beer. There is a whiff of vinegar in the nose along with vibrant fruits. Up front a hint of a candy-like sweetness is followed by an explosion of flavors akin to tart seed fruits like pomegranate and passion fruit. It is drier than most Flemish reds, allowing for the sourness to really come through. A world classic.
